How to setup GROESTL MINER to mine DGB coin

Phase A – Download and install the sgminer miner
The first phase is to use a Groestl-enabled miner for enhanced performance (+ ~10%), the user can use the ghostlander’s kernel.
Step 1: Hit the “Click here” option to download the sgminer-5-0-1-windows-gr.zip, a miner with myr-groestl support.
Step 2: Extract the .zip file.
Phase B – Select a Digibyte pool and create an account
Select a pool of your choice. There are different pools to can select, but I selected the Blocks Factory pool. Click here to view the available Digibyte pools.
Step 1: Click here to go to The Blocks Factory pool
Step 2: Click “Register”
Step 3: Enter your account information
Step 4: Click “Register”mine
Step 5: Once you have created your account, enter your login information’s on the left side
Step 6: Click “Login”
Before you sign up, it is advised to have a Digibyte digital wallet (The wallet address will be asked). If you don’t have any, go to the official website to download one. If you have an exchange account, like Bittrex, a wallet can also be created there and mine directly to it. In this phase, you can view your workers’ current information, renew it or create a new worker
In some pools, you will be required to optimize the miners with Myriad-Groestl which is DGB algorithm:

- Nvidia – http://theblocksfactory.com/ccminer-1.2-myr-gr.zip
Phase C – place an address and control workers
- Step 1: To add an address, hover your mouse about “My Account”
- Step 2: Enter your DGB address
- Step 3: Click “Update Address”
- Step 4: To create a worker, hover your mouse about “My Account”
- Step 5: Select “My Workers”
In this phase, you can view your workers’ current information, renew it or create a new worker
Phase D – Mine Digibyte
Step 1: Now that your pool is set, you go back to the folder where you extract the miner. Right-click the file, click open with and select the notepad
Inside, you’ll see:
Step 2: Replace: stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb-groestl.theblocksfactory.com:9003 with the server you are using. Note, the server and port are correct
Step 3: Replace: TheMiner.1 with the username you registered and the worker you are using, for example: “CryptoCompare.Worker1”
Step 4: Replace: password with your password. If you don’t have any leave it as x
Step 5: Close and save the file
Step 6: Run the .bat file you created which will start the CCminer application. The MH/S and the blocks will appear if it is successful.
